Lisa Lewin is founder of Mindgate Media and a recognized pioneer in the field of digital and visual media for education. Under her leadership, Mindgate has launched numerous educational websites and digital campaigns and created cutting edge instructional materials for major independent producers, academic publishers, and institutions of higher learning including Yale University, MERLOT, New Moon Productions, and McGraw-Hill.
Ms. Lewin brings over fifteen years of experience and vital strategic contributions to diverse industries and markets, serving as operating executive, revenue generator, and strategic visionary. Prior to founding Mindgate Media, Ms. Lewin led strategic and operating initiatives at various divisions of The McGraw-Hill Companies, including McGraw-Hill Education, McGraw-Hill Financial Communications, and BusinessWeek. She championed new product development, digital transformation, and large-scale partnership initiatives with a direct impact on revenues, profitability, and productivity. Previously, Ms. Lewin worked as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and the NPD Group, providing advice to global public companies.
Ms. Lewin has been a keynote speaker at various industry conferences and frequently addresses corporate, not-for-profit, and academic audiences on topics ranging from digital transformation and education to entrepreneurship and ethics. She has been featured in numerous professional magazines and trade journals including Newsweek, The New York Times, Journal of Online Learning & Teaching, Olin Business Magazine, and The Harvard Gazette. She currently serves as a Board Director for mobile health technology startup Microhealth and the Yale University Visual Law Project.
Ms. Lewin earned her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.Sc. in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis. Ms. Lewin also holds a certificate in Instructional Design and Enterprise Learning from New York University.
